Return Policy

 

Our goal is to provide you with a successful and enjoyable shopping experience that encourages you to shop with us in the future.

 

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return any fixtures that have not been installed, any lamps that have not been used and any lampshades that have not been opened, for refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt by following these important steps.  Please understand that any installed fixtures, or custom designed fixtures or lamps, or lampshades that have been unwrapped, are non-returnable.

 

  1. To begin the process, please call 978.369.3000 to advise us of your situation;
  2. In most situations, we will issue return instructions which will include a necessary RMA number;
  3. Shipping product back:
a.  The entire fixture, lamp and / or shade must be returned in its original packaging and factory carton;
b.  Include a copy of the original receipt inside the carton;
c.  Write the return authorization number on the outside of the carton.

  1. We recommend insuring the package against damage or loss.  Returns that are damaged or lost will not be replaced or refunded by Concord Lamp and Shade.
  1. We recommend using a carrier that will provide you with a tracking number as this may speed up your return process.
  1. You have 30 days in which to return the product from the date we authorize your return.  After 30 days, the return authorization will expire and no replacements or refunds will be given.

a.  In the event that a return is damaged on its way back to us, Concord Lamp and Shade will advise the customer that the item was received damaged and hold the product for up to 30 days.  It is the customer’s responsibility to file a claim with the shipping carrier and instruct Concord Lamp and Shade what to do with the damaged product.  If Concord Lamp and Shade has not received instruction from the customer within 30 days, the item will be donated or destroyed.

b.  Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping and insurance. 

  1. Refunds

a.  As soon as the item is received and verified to have all original contents and packaging, and confirmed to be free of damage, your credit card or account will be credited for the price of the item and any applicable taxes. 

b.  Please note that each credit card company varies on the time it takes for the credit to appear on your statement.

c.  Please do not request a charge back from your credit card company during the return process.  If a charge back has been submitted, we will not be able to credit you for your return until the charge back mediation process is complete; this process can take up to 180 days.

d.  All returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

  1. Items not eligible for return:

a.  Custom orders (products that are built to order);

b.  Special purchases including: clearance items, inventory sale items, discontinued items or special discounts;

c.  Any item that has been assembled, installed, modified or used in any way;

d.  Any lampshade that has had its original covering removed;

e.  Any item that is not in re-saleable condition;

f.  Any item that is not accompanied by a return authorization number;

g.  Large orders (those containing 6 or more of a single item).  When ordering large quantities, we suggest ordering a sample for evaluation;

h.  Items shipped by Truck Freight or by Expedited Shipping;

i.  Product received by the customer over 30 days ago.
